![]() In hindsight, from the perspective of someone who is either new, confused by the mesh body industrial complex and the intricacies of it therein (yes, that’s what I’m calling it), or are returning to SL after a long hiatus (exceeding 4 years or so), getting your avatar up to spec in this day and age is mindboggling. Now this isn’t to say that Strawberry Singh, the customers of these agencies or the employees of these agencies are idiots and/or scam artists, they’re not. I will concede I have been remiss about why, as I had put it vulgarly at first, “People would burn money on having some dipshit pick their clothes for them”. What at first sounds stupid may sound sane to the newly informed Segues into aviation aside, there are now so many choices for avatar bodies and clothing in SL, although I’ve been able to easily for years now, a newbie would have a field day trying to make themselves look presentable compared to some of the atrocities some of my friends and I have encountered on our travels, To the point where revered fashion blogger Strawberry Singh has advertised “makeover agencies”. It’s like the F-18 fighter jet - the F/A-18A Variant (A in this case meaning the first version used in active deployment that was made by McDonnell-Douglas that was deployed in the early 80s) is ages old, when you take into consideration the big changes (its’ air intakes and new electronics, vis-a-vis my chest and more present facial features, head changes) and small changes (like shoulders, hip width, hands, feet, skin) to it compared to the modern F/A-18E, Not much has stayed the same. Pingback: Avatair Resort Tour - StrawberrySingh.Best attempts to put my ego and bias aside, I think I did okay, but the thing is this style came about after about a year of on again-off again tampering with a ages old shape that originally was from my days when I used AV2. It looks like that is the issue you are having there so hopefully once you toggle that button in the Maitreya hud, it should fix it. Here are two screenshots of me wearing the tattoo with the neck fix on and off in the maitreya hud: You just need to toggle that and it should fix your tattoo. Starved, looking at your image it looks as if you have your neck fix on in the maitreya hud. However, I will say that out of all the mesh mouths I have tried, the PXL fits the best and has the least amount of seams and issues. So it may look perfect to you because of your lighting, but someone else might still see it with seams and such. Just resizing and editing the mouth to fit as best as possible is the really the only way to do it other than windlight, but that’s not something you can control on other people’s computers. Kay, if you look closely at my raw shot, you will see it’s not completely perfect either. *Sunglasses: Aviator Classic – White Gold by Lucca Millvale ![]() *Necklace: ONLIEST (FEMALE)Full_Necklace by kikunosuke Eel *Top: Bueno-Black Tank-Lara by BuenoSL ( Kustom9) *Tattoo: Letis Tattoo :: Essence by Leti Hax LeLutka.Jaden hair.S by Thora Charron ( flickr) *Mesh Lips Applier: Glam Affair – PXL Sweet Lips Appliers ( Alice ) by Aida Ewing ( Shiny Shabby) *Mesh Lips: SweetLips v1.1 by Hart Larsson *Eyebrow Piercing: OKAKI face peiarcing set by kikunosuke Eel *Eyes: IKON Charm Eyes – Ice by Ikon Innovia ( flickr) ![]() Mesh Lashes: * MC* “Falsies” Eyelash by Freya Olivieri *Mesh Eyeliner: – Glam Affair– Couture Eyeliner no.03 by Aida Ewing *Skin: Glam Affair – Alice skin – Jamaica 06 F by Aida Ewing ( Kustom9) ![]() *Mesh Body: Maitreya Mesh Body – Lara V2.1 by Onyx LeShelle I’m thinking I might try their Skydiving tour next, it looks like fun. I live-plurked the whole event if you’re interested in seeing more pictures and reading my goofy commentary. I also wanted to share that I finally went on my Scuba Adventure Tour through Avatair on Monday night and I had such a blast. However, if you are into mesh mouths, then you might want to look into this one since it was a lot easier to fit, Glam Affair already has appliers for it and it already has an Omega system kit. I might wear it for pictures once in a while, but it’s not something I will wear all the time. I own a couple of the loud mouth mouths as well and I do admit that this PXL mouth was A LOT easier to adjust and fit, but I don’t think it suits me. I have to admit, I am not really a fan of mesh mouths. I am also wearing a new mesh mouth that was released today from PXL. If you are not familiar with Omega appliers, you can find more info and instructions on their blog. I am wearing the tattoo layer for my face and then I used the Omega Applier it came with and applied the tattoo to my Maitreya Mesh body. I think out of all the ones I bought though, this one is my absolute favorite. I recently went on a massive shopping spree at Letis Tattoo so you’ll be seeing me very inked for a while.
